Frozen ponds and lakes pose big risks in B.C.

It is unusual for temperatures to dip so low on B.C.’s South Coast that ponds and lakes freeze. And although the Mother Nature-made skating rinks may be tempting, venturing onto the ice can pose significant risks. Kylie Stanton reports.
