Firefighters in Peterborough, Ont., sprang into action when a dog recently went through the ice on Thompson Bay in the Trent Canal. The dog’s owner and officials are using the scary incident to remind residents to be wary of the ice and keep your pets on a leash. Tricia Mason has the story.
