A Quebec family is finally one step closer to justice in a case that had gone cold for close to 30 years. A man has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of 10-year-old Marie-Chantale Desjardins whose body was found in a field in a community north of Montreal back in 1994. Global’s Gloria Henriquez reports from the St-Jerome courthouse.
