Wed, Apr 1 – A new poll shows more than half of BC residents think the proposed 20 cent raise in the minimum wage doesn’t go far enough. Those numbers released on the same day several increases in costs were introduced to consumers from BC Hydro, liquor, to BC Ferries. Jill Krop spoke with BC Federation of Labour President Irene Lanzinger and Trish Garner from the BC Poverty Reduction Coalition to discuss the situation.
