Impact of Vernon SPCA Closure

It hasn’t even been a week and already at least one animal rescue organization is feeling extra pressure in the wake of the SPCA shelter closure in Vernon. The BC SPCA announced last week that it is closing the shelter after more than three decades in the community. As Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, that has left the Okanagan Humane Society appealing to the community for support.
