They are badly needed across the province — childcare spaces and in the Central Okanagan. There’s some relief on the way with the addition of 600 new spaces for pre-school and school-aged children. The spaces are dispersed among seven new facilities and as Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, they have all been built or being built on school property.
