U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken visited Jordan on Saturday to discuss the ongoing Gaza crisis with foreign ministers from U.S.-allied Arab states. During the meeting, Blinken was urged to push for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and to persuade Israel to agree to temporary pauses to allow in aid. However, the United States has dismissed growing international calls for a ceasefire and instead proposed localized pauses, which Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected on Friday.
