More details have emerged in the plan to replace the Mercier bridge and Saint-Pierre interchange. Transports Québec officials are in the planning stages to replace both structures. But until then, the costs to repair and maintain the existing ones continue to grow, with lane closures and detours occurring on a regular basis. Global’s Tim Sargeant reports.
