The Ottawa Senators traded forward Zack Smith to the Chicago Blackhawks for centre Artem Anisimov on Tuesday.

Forwards Mark Stone and Matt Duchene will serve as alternate captains, while defenceman Mark Borowiecki and forward Zack Smith will alternate wearing an 'A' on the road and home respectively.

Smith has three years remaining on a four-year, US$13-million dollar contract extension he signed in January 2017.
