Morden RCMP were called when people who stopped to help a driver whose vehicle had slid off the road noticed damage to the dashboard and missing licence plates.

The incident started around 4:30 p.m., and although police made several attempts to stop the stolen truck, they were unsuccessful due to its erratic driving.
