The town said residents should flush clean and sanitize their water pipes, treatment devices, storage systems and plumbed appliances before drinking the water.

Candiac, Delson, Sainte-Catherine, Saint-Constant, Saint-Mathieu and Saint-Philippe have issued a watering ban.
