In his Dec. 20, 2018 judgment, a provincial court judge said he was concerned by the Facebook notice published by the Victoria Police Department.

Victoria police Chief Del Manak wrote a ticket after a motorcyclist lost control due to an alleged stint of dangerous driving.

A tweet posted by Cst. Cody Lapierre of the Vic PD Traffic Unit stated that “one impaired tried to give his hamburger to our member instead of (his) drivers licence. He was so impaired he could not provide a sample.”
