Ottawa's built heritage subcommittee also recommended pursuing heritage designation for the Ottawa Tennis and Lawn Bowling Club in Old Ottawa South and the Traders Bank of Canada building in Vars.

The fire, which broke out early Wednesday morning, damaged 12 vehicles in total. There were no reported injuries.
