Police say someone deliberately set a fire in the alley behind the Chinese Cultural Centre, causing thousands of dollars in smoke and water damage.

The latest incident involves graffiti on a pair of lion statues outside the Vancouver Chinese Cultural Centre at Pender and Carrall streets.
