Lower Slash Road was closed between Deseronto Road and Mowbrays Road as a precaution while a man barricaded himself in a home in Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory. The man was arrested.

Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs are heading to Ontario on Wednesday to meet with members of the Mohawk community in Tyendinaga and Kahnawake.
