One person has died following a highway collision involving a semi-truck and an SUV northwest of Morinville, Alta., according to the RCMP.

A 54-year-old man from Airdrie, Alta. was killed when the minivan he was driving collided with a pickup truck north of Gibbons, Alta., police said Tuesday night.
