Suncor's CEO says the delay of the maintenance "turnaround" for one of the coker units in the upgrader will allow the company to reduce the number of contractors in the region.

Suncor said Patrick Poitras was found dead after an extensive recovery effort that involved the RCMP and Occupational Health and Safety.
