Hundreds of workers returned to Strathcona County County Hall on Monday morning and will welcome the public back on Wednesday after two explosions earlier this month. Other parts of the complex will remain closed — possibly for months.

One week after a Sherwood Park, Alta., complex housing Strathcona County Hall and a library and community centre was shaken by two explosions, an official told reporters Tuesday night that a plan is in place for staff re-entry but it's still not clear when the buildings will reopen to the public.

Schools in Sherwood Park that were closed for two days after two explosions rocked the Strathcona County Community Centre Tuesday evening will reopen Friday.
