  On the tail of a narrow band of heavy snow moving through Calgary and area, Calgary Transit has activated snow detours for Friday.

  For the first time Thursday morning Calgary transit used its city wide snow detours, to mixed results. Some would-be riders were left behind. Transit says things will improve.
