The Ever Forward, a 334-metre container ship, trapped itself in the Chesapeake Bay in March, a year to the month its cousin, the Ever Given, blocked the Suez Canal in Egypt.

The breakthrough came after intensive efforts to push and pull the ship with 10 tugboats and vacuum up sand with several dredgers at spring tide.
