Canada's main stock index lost almost 200 points Wednesday amid a broad-based decline, while U.S. markets also posted losses, as investors fretted over stubbornly high inflation. 

Most malls, grocery stores, Beer Stores, LCBO locations, and Shoppers Drug Mart locations will be closed on Monday, Sept. 6, though there are some exceptions.
