A Quebec police officer with more than 20 years of service, along with an alleged suspect, are dead following an attack in Louiseville, northeast of Montreal.

Jean-René Junior Olivier, 37, was shot by police three times in the stomach just a few houses down from his mother’s home after she called 911 asking for help.
