Montreal police say the 88-year-old woman suffered serious upper body injuries and was not conscious when she was taken to hospital. She died early Thursday.

A man in his 80s is in hospital in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle while crossing de la Fabrique Street in Salaberry-de Valleyfield Saturday evening.
