The 100-year-old branch is expected to reopen in spring 2020. Until then, its services will be offered on a smaller scale at a temporary location at 1207 Wellington St. West, according to the public library.

Construction on the site, located at the corner of Albert Street and Commissioner Street, is scheduled to begin in 2021 and be completed in 2024.
