The province’s move to scrap licence plate stickers across Ontario came into effect on Sunday and it will soon begin issuing refunds to those who had re-upped.

An Ontario government spokesperson said licence plate stickers and driver's licences that expired on or after March 1, 2020, are still valid "until further notice."
