The OPP said officers were called to a residence Sunday for a medical call. Both victims were transported to hospital via ambulance, where they later were pronounced dead. 

Ontario is reporting three new COVID-19 related deaths as the total number of fatalities has hit the grim milestone of 10,000 since the start of the pandemic.

"We're still sort of brainstorming, but one of the things that we're planning on doing is having more night funerals," said MacCoubrey, noting that would allow his funeral home to host an additional service every day. "Prior to the pandemic, we'd have maybe two night funerals a year."
