A snowstorm has rolled into southern Alberta, delivering a blanket of snow and slippery road conditions.

Power outages hit more than 250,000 Manitobans throughout the storm, with 160,000 customers without power at one time at the height of it.

The City of Winnipeg says the October storm that devastated trees across the city and knocked out power for days will cost $9 million to clean up and leave the city in a $9.2 million hole.
