Manitoba is the second province to sign an agreement, after Newfoundland and Labrador did so last month. 

School nutrition programs in Canada say they are experiencing the perfect storm of rising food costs and inflation.

Families Minister Heather Stefanson said the new project will reach about 6,000 Manitoba children and will be supported by online resources for local families to learn more about nutrition.
