• Human rights activist Najwa Zebian helps others through her writing

  Najwa Zebian was born in Lebanon and moved to Canada with her family when she was 16 years old. She remembers how unsettling it was to move to a new country, learn a new language and make new friends. Writing poetry helped Zebian to find her authentic self and feel at peace in her heart.
