"They knew exactly what they were grabbing and they were in and out in about 30 seconds," Morgan Creek director of golf operations Tom Doull said.

Surrey RCMP say officers are speaking with witnesses and canvassing the area after a shooting early Friday morning.

Jay Mitchell lives near hole 13, on the edge of the Morgan Creek Golf Course in Surrey. For the past four years, he says thousands of golf balls have been hit into his yard, striking his house and cars, and even hitting him in the hip.
