Members of the temple where Hardeep Singh Nijjar served as president say they've turned video surveillance over to police of the attack that claimed his life.

Documents compiled by Global News reveal the complicated life of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who was gunned down in Surrey, B.C., on Sunday night.

Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, whose meeting with Trudeau was one the flashpoints of the prime minister's trip to India last year, called the move "a threat to Indian and global security."
