Velveteen has work nominated for Pop Album of the Year, Contemporary Indigenous Artist or Group of the Year, and Adult Contemporary Album of the Year.

Other big contenders this year include Shawn Mendes with four Juno nominations. He's in line with the total held by Vancouver pop newcomer Jessia and Toronto's Pressa.
