Peel police sources told Global News on Thursday that multiple arrests have been made in relation to the murder of 23-year-old Jason Ramkishun and a related shooting one week later.

Peel Regional Police say Jason Ramkishun was not the intended target of the shooting. Officers have announced a reward of $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of those responsible.

Police said the intended target was injured during a shooting on Tuesday. Officers encouraged witnesses or those with dashcam video to contact police, or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
