Ontario Provincial Police Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said Thursday afternoon that officers were at the scene of the collision on Highway 401 just east of Highway 400. 

"This is not a race track. This is not the way to be using our highways here, where everyone is trying to get to their destinations safely," OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said.
