More than three years after the crash, Harvinder Singh Toor was acquitted of all criminal charges and for Gilles Laferriere, it was as though the trial never happened at all. 

Gilles Laferriere suffered multiple broken bones during the crash and a man named Carlos died in the driver's seat.
