Parents of students at Kingsclear Consolidated School in Fredericton say they're frustrated by the school district's decision not to implement a French Immersion program at the school. They say they are being treated unfairly and say having the program could help boost enrollment and protect the school from the possibility of being closed.

New Brunswick Education Minister Brian Kenny confirmed in a committee meeting on Thursday there was no money in the budget for a school to be built in the Rural Community of Hanwell.

The mayor of the Rural Community of Hanwell says hundreds of children, including his own, have to spend nearly two hours a day busing to and from school in Fredericton.
