In recent weeks, several UCP candidates have come under fire for hateful remarks, however one political scientist believes the comments won't be enough to change public perception.

UCP Calgary-South East candidate Eva Kiryakos resigned late Sunday night, saying she was "tired of being bullied for her beliefs" and claimed someone outside her party had been threatening to "smear" her.
