Peter Leon, corporate communications co-ordinator with Barrie police, said police, fire, and paramedics responded to an incident at 108A Anne Street in Barrie just before 3 a.m.

According to police, the homeowner woke up during the alleged incident and a vehicle was reported stolen from the residence.
