  Fire crews soon determined a helicopter rescue would be necessary, and called in the Search and Rescue specialized team.

  Officials said a 37-year-old male was biking in the area on Monday afternoon, when he fell and had suspected head and spinal injuries.

• Crawford Falls climber rescued

  The incident happened Saturday when the man was hiking along the Crawford Falls trail and decided to attempt the climb. He fell 30 feet.
