The wildfire season may have officially ended, but southern Alberta residents are still being reminded of the continued fire risks through fall.

B.C. provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry said no decisions have been made yet on whether the restrictions in place into May 26 will remain.

The province also extended the ban on social gatherings outside of one's immediate household in the Fraser Health and Vancouver Coastal Health regions to December, and expanded it to the entire province.
