Earlier this week, Port Alberni RCMP said Amber Manthorne may be in the company of a man, but that man has since been located and officers no longer believe she is with him.

'We ask that the public continue to keep an eye out for Amber and Justin, and to call the Port Alberni RCMP immediately with any information about their location.'
