Environment Canada issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Calgary and Rocky View County on Sunday.

Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued for several areas in central and southern Alberta on Tuesday afternoon with Environment Canada warning people in some affected areas to expect "strong wind gusts, up to ping-pong ball-sized hail and heavy rain."
