The owner of Adamson Barbecue opened his restaurant for indoor dining in November in violation of COVID-19 public health regulations, drawing dozens of anti-lockdown protesters.

"It's disrupted my business and it looks like it's cost the taxpayers a fortune just with the amount of service and support that's needed to keep everybody safe."

"This establishment opened its doors to patrons for dine-in eating in contravention of the law that is designed to protect people from the spread of COVID-19," a City of Toronto statement issued Tuesday afternoon said.
