Buffalo Lodge in Lethbridge, Alta., is a unique project made possible through federal funding that aims to meet the needs of Indigenous people who have to move off their reserve.

The Aboriginal Housing Society is in charge of urban native housing and admits there are hundreds of people from neighbouring reserves waiting for homes inside city limits.
