The Montreal conductor says he hopes being nominated in the best classical compendium category serves as a reminder of the ongoing war against Ukraine and its innocent victims.

The Montreal native picked up five nominations across four classical music categories, and there was is a strong showing coming from an array of other homegrown talents.
