The Edmonton Public Library is celebrating spring break with some family-friendly classes, exciting guest performances and fun activities at your local branch. The EPL’s Richard Thornley joined us on Global News Morning with more details.

Regina Public Library’s (RPL) drop-in counselling services started in the Central Branch just five few years ago, but with the demand rising, the services are expanding.

Lindsey Hoesen, with Regina Police Service, reminded all drivers that “the best way to avoid collisions is to leave lots of space between other cars, take time traveling, and ensure windshield visibility is unobstructed.”

Terry Lazarou, with Regina Public Schools, said on Tuesday, “Supervised polar bear clubs offer outdoor activities where students can enjoy the outdoors with the permission of their parents and guardians because we live in a winter province and this weather is a part of life.”

Capital City Records, the Edmonton Public Library’s premium music streaming platform, is set to expand its collection by 100 albums this year through a call for submissions. Dan Alfano and Neil Jackson with the EPL joined us on Global News Morning with all the details.
