Major storm headed for southern Alberta

CALGARY- Southern Albertans are being warned to brace for a huge dump of snow.

An intense winter storm is forecast to spread from B.C. into Alberta on Sunday, passing through central Alberta and hitting the southern part of the province that night.

Total snowfall amounts could hit over 10 cm by Tuesday, while areas near the foothills could see up to 30 cm.

Temperatures could drop to around -20.
