The falcon statue was one of two made for the 1941 movie starring Humphrey Bogart. It has been in the hands of an unidentified collector for three decades.
The selling price is slightly less than the $4.1 million paid for the 1964 Aston Martin DB5 from Goldfinger in 2010.
