TORONTO — Only seven months after giving birth to their son, actress Malin Akerman has split from her husband.
The 35-year-old Trophy Wife star, who grew up in Toronto, has been married to musician Roberto Zincone since 2007.

They started dating four years earlier when Akerman was lead singer of The Petalstones and Zincone was the drummer.
The couple welcome son Sebastian in April.

Akerman is also known for her roles in movies like Watchmen, Couples Retreat and Rock of Ages.
Born in Stockholm, she moved to Canada with her family when she was only two. Akerman grew up in the Niagara region and moved to Toronto after signing with Ford Models.
