EDMONTON – Edmontonians will once again be allowed to park on bus routes, as the City of Edmonton will be lifting the seasonal parking ban at noon Sunday.

The ban has been in place since 8:00 a.m. last Sunday.

Over the past eight days, about 50 centimetres of snow has fallen on the Capital Region, which is about 32 centimetres above average for November.

As of Friday afternoon, bylaw officers had issued just over 1,100 tickets for seasonal parking ban infractions. The City of Edmonton will be providing updated ticket numbers on Monday morning.
